Christian Prawda (born August 6, 1982 in Wolfsberg ) is a former Austrian football player on the position of a defender .
Career
Prawda began his career at the hometown club Annabichler SV from Klagenfurt . Later he joined the youth team of FC Kärnten before he was awarded by the same club to the satellite club BSV Juniors Villach . In the second division Pravda completed 22 games. In 2003 he joined the first team of FC Kärnten and made his debut in the top Austrian division. His debut goal followed a year later. After relegation in the same year, he stayed with the Carinthians. Only when SK Austria Kärnten was able to acquire the license from FC Superfund did Prawda play in Austria's first division again.
During the winter break of the 2009/10 season , Prawda's move, which should initially take place in summer 2010, to league rivals Sturm Graz was announced. On January 26, 2010, Pravda was brought to Sturm with immediate effect.
At the end of the 2009/10 season, Pravda decided to end his professional career. His contract with Sturm Graz was terminated by mutual agreement. After much back and forth, he finally moved to the Regionalliga Mitte for SK Austria Klagenfurt . For the 2011/12 season he moved within the Regionalliga Mitte to Villacher SV , where he acted as a regular from the start and until the end of the season, after he was deployed in various positions and even played as captain on the lawn, on 27 league appearances and a hit came, he and the team behind the Graz AK were runner-up in the Regionalliga Mitte. Also in 2012/13 he was part of the regular team of Villacher SV and most of the time as a left-back he made 26 regional league appearances, during which he again scored a goal and made it to the round of 16 of the 2012/13 ÖFB Cup .
After licensing problems at the club, Pravda left the club in the summer of 2013 and instead switched to league rivals Austria Klagenfurt . By the end of the 2013/14 season, he had played 23 of the 30 possible league games with the Klagenfurt team and, after barely being in the squad between August and September 2013, led the team as team captain from mid-March 2014. Even at the Carinthian capital club Pravda did not have a fixed position, but changed his defensive position almost every game. At the end of the season, he and the team ranked fifth in the Regionalliga Mitte. In the 2014/15 season he was again captain of the squad trained by Manfred "Manni" Bender from this time on , but was not part of the team for further parts of the season and accordingly made only 14 regional league appearances in which he contributed two assists. In the subsequent relegation Austria Klagenfurt faced SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 , who took part as runner-up in the Regionalliga Ost for champions SC Ritzing , who did not get a license from the Bundesliga. Here the left-back led his team into the country's second-highest division after losing the first leg 2-1, but winning the second leg, when Pravda scored one goal and prepared another for Patrik Eler , 4-1 in overtime .
In the 2015/16 season , Pravda continued to appear for his team in his traditional position on the left defensive side and as captain and came to 27 championship appearances during which he scored one goal and prepared another.
He ended his career after the 2015/16 season.
