Christian Vann

Christian Vann (born August 5, 1974 ) is a former British racing driver .

Career

Christian Vann was best known as a touring car and sports car driver . After a few years in the British Formula Renault Championship - where he achieved his best overall result with ninth overall place in 1995 - he switched to the FIA GT Championship in 1996 as a works driver for Marcos . In 1999 he made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with 22nd place overall on a Chrysler Viper GTS-R . He achieved his best placement on the Sarthe in 2005 on a factory Courage C60 , together with the Swiss Alexander Frei and the German Dominik Schwager. The Briton drove sports car races until the end of 2006 and retired from racing at the end of the year.
