Christina Bennett Lind

Christina Bennett Lind (born March 22, 1983 in Upland , Pennsylvania ) is an American actress . She was best known for her portrayal of Bianca Montgomery on the ABC soap opera All My Children . She is the twin sister of actress Heather Lind .

Live and act

Lind grew up with her family in Guilderland , New York . She attended a public school there and later went to the private Fordham University , where she graduated in drama. She also attended the New York State Summer School for the Arts , both as a visual artist and as an acting artist. She explains that this "determined a large part of my decision to make art my profession."

Acting career

Her first acting role was Viola in Twelfth Night by Shakespeare , together with her twin sister Heather, what the role of the twin brother Sebastian showed. This gig was based on the idea of ​​your English teacher to establish a drama club at the school. Both Linds were in 8th grade at the time. However, both had previously spent several summers practicing theater, dance and music with their grandparents in Nova Scotia . “We took it very seriously. Christina Bennett Lind's first work was the role of a ventriloquist doll in a 35mm short film made by a college friend. Lind played the role of Bianca Montgomery in the ABC continuous television series All My Children from June 2010 until the series was discontinued in September 2011.

Lind is currently working in a self-organized artist community, The Neboya Collective , who appear together in various stage productions and several independent film projects.

Since the end of 2013 Christina Lind has played as Marion in a stage adaptation of Robin Hood entitled Heart of Robin Hood at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge , a suburb of Boston .

Lind is committed to changing the image of women and girls in public. She supports women and LGBTQ organizations. Lind explained that she has repeatedly experienced how little women and especially their bodies are treated with respect in public. She would like to initiate discussion and change about self-esteem and respect for women and girls.
