Christina Griebel

Christina Griebel (born April 12, 1973 in Ulm ) is a German writer , visual artist and professor of art education at the Karlsruhe Art Academy.

Life

Christina Griebel graduated parallel a study of painting (including at Horst Antes ) and the art education at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe and a study of the German at the University of Karlsruhe . From 1995 to 2001 she was studying in Norwich , Moscow , Hoima ( Uganda ), Reykjavík and Helsinki, among others . She completed her legal clerkship and taught at various high schools . She has been publishing short stories and radio plays since 2001 . From 2001 to 2004 she worked at the Graduate College of the Berlin University of the Arts at their Dissertation , with which it in 2005 at the University of Frankfurt for doctor of philosophy doctorate . Griebel taught painting as a research assistant from 2004 to 2007 at the Institute for Art Education at the University of Frankfurt , and from 2008 to 2015 she taught as a professor for art and its didactics at the Heidelberg University of Education. During this time she was seconded as a guest lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2011 to 2014.

Christina Griebel has been a member of the Association of German Writers since 2002 . In addition to a number of scholarships , she received the Walter Serner Prize in 2001 and the Ulm City Prize for Young Literature in 2002 . In 2003 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt .

Since 2015 professor for art didactics and educational science at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe .
