Christine Wodetzky
Christine Wodetzky , actually Christa Elisabeth Wodetzky , (born January 5, 1938 in Leipzig , † December 7, 2004 in Berlin ) was a German actress .
Life
Christine Wodetzky fled to the West after the Wall was built in 1961 and played on numerous stages in Stuttgart , Hamburg , Zurich , Cologne and Düsseldorf . In Berlin she played next to the Schlossparktheater at the Volksbühne Berlin .
Her roles included Polly in the Threepenny Opera , Marquise de Merteuil in Dangerous Liaisons and Miss Schneider in the musical Cabaret , with which she was on tour in 2003.
The artist became known to a larger audience in more than 120 television roles, in particular through television series such as Die Grashüpfer , Das Traumschiff , Die Glückliche Familie , Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast or Lorentz & Sons and - especially at the beginning - through TV crime novels such as Der Kommissar , The old man , Derrick and A case for two . In 1992 she was Baroness Elisabeth von Porz in the cast of the 12-part SAT.1 game show Cluedo - The Murderer's Game . She was seen on the screen in German and international film productions such as The Odessa Files , Bis zur bitteren Neige , Die wunderbaren Jahre and Der Dybuk .
In 1970, Wodetzky was awarded the Golden Camera for her roles in Der Dybuk and Ver Betrayal and Sold . In 1980 she received a Bambi and the Hartmann Prize for her role in the television film Claustrophobia .
Wodetzky died at the age of 66 after a long and serious illness.
