Christoph Friedrich von Suckow

Christoph Friedrich von Suckow , also von Sukow , (* before 1695; † June 26, 1734 ) was a German lawyer . He was the first head of the court in Köslin .

He came from the Pomeranian noble family von Suckow , which can be traced for the first time in the 17th century and which went out in the second half of the 18th century.

Christoph Friedrich von Suckow studied law at the University of Greifswald from 1695 . In 1699 he became a noble court judge trainee at the court in Stargard and in 1703 he was court judge there. He also became consistorial assessor at the Stargard consistory in 1709 and consistorial director in 1715.

In 1720, under King Friedrich Wilhelm I, a court court Köslin was founded in Prussian West Pomerania , the judicial district of which was separated from that of the Stargard court. Christoph Friedrich von Suckow became head of the new court, received the title of a Privy Council on September 16, 1720 and was appointed on September 24, 1720. His official title was “court administrator and director”, only his successors received the official title “president”. The opening of the court took place on December 3, 1720 in Köslin . Christoph Friedrich von Suckow died in 1734, his successor in office was Henning Franz von Münchow .

Christoph Friedrich von Suckow was married to Dorothea Euphrosina , born von Wedel , and his second marriage to Juliane Charlotte , born von Bornstaedt .

Christoph Friedrich von Suckow was the heir to Schlötenitz and Kitzerow . In Schlötenitz, southwest of Stargard in Pomerania , his family owned the Schlötenitz B. share. In 1736, his heirs sold Schlötenitz B. Kitzerow, northeast of Stargard, belonged entirely to his family.
