Henning Franz von Münchow

Henning Franz von Münchow (born August 9, 1683 ; † August 29, 1753 ) was a Prussian lawyer, most recently president of the court in Köslin .

He was a member of the Pomeranian noble family Münchow . His father Wilhelm Bernd von Münchow was a district administrator, his mother was born von Hechthausen .

He attended high school in Thorn from 1700 and then studied law at the University of Halle . He also spent some time traveling. From 1722 he was court judge at the court in Köslin . Here he was first promoted to vice director and received the title of a secret council . In 1734 he was appointed as the successor to Christoph Friedrich von Suckow President of the Court Court Köslin. In 1747 he was dismissed from office at his request, probably for reasons of age, but received an annual pension ("annual allowance").

Henning Franz von Münchow was married to Louise Henriette von Fuchs , a daughter of the Prussian State Minister Johann Heinrich von Fuchs .

Henning Franz von Münchow was landlord on Zarnefanz , Gerfin , Naffin and Denzin in Pomerania and on Darsen in the Kingdom of Poland . He also raised claims to part of the village takers , but was defeated in 1747 before the Higher Appeal Court in Berlin . He sold the Groß Dubberow A estate in 1748. After his retirement he retired to his estate Zarnefanz. After his death in 1753, his two sons inherited the property. After both died without leaving any heirs, the estates were shared by their sisters.
