Christoph Gottlieb Hedemann

Christoph Gottlieb Hedemann (* around 1703 ; † May 11, 1776 in Glogau , Silesia ) was a German architect .

Hedemann first appeared as a surveyor when he carried out the cadastral survey of Brandenburg an der Havel from 1722 to 1724 . From the years 1727 and 1729 there are maps of the course of the Oder from Schwetig to the Lebuser border and of the Havelbruch .

Hedemann was later a royal Prussian building inspector in Frankfurt (Oder) , where he married Sophia Damero on February 2, 1731. In Frankfurt he led the renovation of the French Reformed Church and renewed the Franciscan monastery church , the baroque organ of which was designed according to his “being”. The double rectory of the Nikolaikirche was built from 1738 to 1740 based on his design.

In 1739 the Trinity Church in Zossen , a large, rectangular plastered building, was built by Hedemann in a baroque style.

In 1741 Hedemann became building director of the Glogau War and Domain Chamber , where he worked until his death. In this function he was responsible for a. the town hall buildings in Hirschberg and Lüben and the warehouse buildings in Schweidnitz and Breslau .
