The 57th Circuit Cycliste Sarthe took place from April 7th to 10th, 2009. The bike race was held in three stages, a half stage and an individual time trial over a distance of 667.8 kilometers.
Overall victory went to Frenchman David Le Lay , who, despite numerous attacks from Enrico Rossi , did not relinquish the lead after his victory on the second stage. The following places went to Enrico Rossi and Benoît Vaugrenard .
