Jean-Eudes Demaret (born July 25, 1984 in Crépy-en-Valois ) is a former French cyclist who is now active as a duathlete and triathlete .
Career
Cycling until 2012
In 2000, Jean-Eudes Demaret was French junior runner-up in cyclo-cross racing . In 2002 he won the silver medal in Team Relay at the Mountain Bike World Championships .
In 2006 he won the prologue and a stage of the Tour de la Guadeloupe for himself.
In 2007 Demaret received a stagiaire contract with the UCI ProTeam Française des Jeux and then mainly competed in road races . In his first year he won the last stage of the Tour du Poitou-Charentes . He had further stage successes in 2008 at the Tour de Picardie , in 2009 at the Étoile de Bessèges and at the Circuit Cycliste Sarthe . In 2009 he also started at the Vuelta a España and finished 127th in the overall ranking. In 2011 he won the SEB Tartu Grand Prix .
At the end of the 2012 season he ended his career as a professional cyclist.

Triathlon since 2014
In 2016 he became French champion in the triathlon middle distance (3 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 20 km running) in Baudreix . In the same year he was also able to qualify for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii and started in October in Kona at the Ironman World Championships .
Jean-Eudes Demaret lives in Annecy .
