Cláudio Nori Sturm

Cláudio Nori Sturm OFMCap (born May 12, 1953 in Ubiretama ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Patos de Minas .

Life

Cláudio Nori Sturm joined the order of the Capuchins , made his profession on March 2, 1975 and the Bishop of Ponta Grossa , Geraldo Claudio Luiz Micheletto Pellanda CP , ordained him on January 6, 1980 as a priest .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 8, 2008 Bishop of Patos de Minas. The Archbishop of Curitiba , Moacyr José Vitti CSS , donated him episcopal ordination on December 5 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Mário Marquez OFMCap, auxiliary bishop in Vitória , and Sérgio Arthur Braschi , bishop of Ponta Grossa. The inauguration in the diocese of Patos de Minas took place on January 4th of the next year. As a motto he chose Manete in dilectione mea .
