Clément Mouamba (* 1943 or 1944 ) is a Congolese politician .

Mouamba attended the lycée technique in Brazzaville and went to study in France, first to Montpellier, then to the Sorbonne, where he received a doctorate in economics . In 1973 he was involved in setting up the Banque des Etats de l'Afrique Centrale (BEAC) in Yaoundé and in 1979 became a senior executive at BEAC. In 1985 he was appointed head of the Banque commerciale du Congo (BCC) by Denis Sassou-Nguesso .

Under President Pascal Lissouba , he was Finance Minister from September 1992 to June 1993. Since 2016, under President Denis Sassou Nguesso, he has been Head of Government of the Republic of the Congo. Prime Minister Clément Mouamba and his government resigned on August 17, 2017.
