Stéphane Maurice Bongho-Nouarra (born June 6, 1937 in Ouésso , French Equatorial Africa , today: Republic of the Congo ; † October 7, 2007 in Brussels ) was a Congolese politician of the Alliance Nationale pour la Démocratie (AND), who among other things was Prime Minister in 1992 the Republic of the Congo was.

Life

Bongho-Nouarra served as Minister of Public Works in the government of Prime Minister Alfred Raoul from 1968 to 1969 . On September 2, 1992, as a representative of the Alliance Nationale pour la Démocratie (AND), he succeeded the non- party André Milongo as Prime Minister of the Republic of the Congo . He held this post until December 6, 1992, when he was replaced by Claude Antoine Dacosta . In the government of Prime Minister Jacques Joachim Yhombi-Opango , he was Minister of Defense between 1995 and 1996.
