Claudia Margarete Tessa Irene Guderian (born March 4, 1952 in Bremen ) is a German author , journalist and photographer .

Life

Guderian studied political science , sociology , English studies and psychology in Giessen and Munich and received his doctorate in 2004 with a thesis on "The Space in Psychoanalysis". She worked for several years as a newspaper editor at Gießener Anzeiger . Since 1982 she has published novels, short stories, radio plays, radio features and non-fiction books as a freelance author. She is a member of the PEN Center Germany .

In the field of English didactics , she wrote the books about the witch Huckla for the first time, an English textbook for preschoolers based on European curricula .

Guderian publishes regularly in the time , the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , the world , the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Frankfurter Rundschau . She regularly makes contributions to Deutschlandradio Kultur and Saarländischer Rundfunk .
