Career

Claudia Mürle started her Bundesliga career at the age of 17 under her maiden name Pavlicek in Unterschleißheim near Bayern Lohhof. The next stop was TV Dingolfing . Lower Bavaria remained setter until the end of the 1997/98 season. Claudia Pavlicek then played one season with TV Creglingen , then two years in Ulm for SSV, before moving back to Lohhof, this time to VF Bayern Lohhof, as the club was now called after its first bankruptcy. After a detour at VC Harlekin Augsburg, the qualified sports scientist played for the third time in Unterschleißheim from 2004, this time at SV Lohhof - after Bayern Lohhof's second bankruptcy, the women returned to their original club, but only played in the third division , the Regionalliga Südost. In the same season, the team was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the following two years, the team was unable to get promoted to the first division due to financial reasons. Only at the end of the 2008/09 season was Claudia Mürle able to enjoy promotion to the volleyball upper house. Now the 32-year-old has ended her career as an indoor volleyball player, but was available to SV Lohhof as an assistant trainer. Injuries of the two setter Malgorzata Göschl and Lucia Kaiser caused the resignation, in January Mürle had her first appearance in the 1st Bundesliga for SV Lohhof. More games followed, but then Claudia Mürle concentrated again on her tasks as assistant coach. Since 2011, the woman from Unterschleißheim has been responsible for the club's second women's team from the north of Munich.

Born in Munich, she also tried her hand at beach volleyball with various partners, including a. with the later European champion Sara Goller in 2002. Mürle became Bavarian champion in 1998 with Silke Nörenberg, and in 2005 with her current partner Lina Meyer . However, Claudia Mürle achieved her greatest success on clay in 2001 with Mireya Kaup when they were registered for the European Championships in Jesolo . Despite a win in the first game, however, it was only enough for 17th place.

Private

Claudia Pavlicek married the former Lohhofer volleyball player Christian Mürle in summer 2007 and took his last name. They both have 2 children together.
