Claus-Dieter Reents

Claus-Dieter Reents (born March 15, 1943 in Hamburg ; † August 27, 1996 in Grünwald - Geiselgasteig ) was a German actor .

Career

Reents completed his training at a drama school in Frankfurt am Main .

He became known to a wide audience through various cinema and television roles, for example alongside Götz George in Die Katzen , in various episodes of the crime series Tatort , guest roles in television series such as Der Fahnder and Die Kommissarin or, directed by Ingmar Bergman, in Das Schlangenei .

In the ARD - soap opera Marienhof he played four and a half years, the bartender since filming began on 10 February 1992 Heinz Poppel . On August 27, 1996, he suddenly and unexpectedly died of heart failure on the Bavaria site in Grünwald near Munich while filming the series .
