Claus-Peter Lieckfeld

Claus-Peter Lieckfeld (born November 18, 1948 in Hanstedt (Nordheide) , partly also Klaus-Peter Lieckfeld ) is a German writer and journalist .

Life

Lieckfeld studied teaching and passed the second state examination for German and social studies. He initially worked as a local journalist in Nordheide and at NDR - Oldenburg . In the 1980s he was a founding member of the environmental magazine Natur , published by Horst Stern . He worked as an editor at Natur from 1981 to December 1988. From 1989 to 1996 he was editor-in-chief of pro futura-Verlag, which published illustrated books in collaboration with WWF . He has been living with Veronika Straaß west of Munich since the late 1980s .

Claus-Peter Lieckfeld has been a freelance author since 1997, for GEO , Merian , mare , Die Zeit and SZ-Magazin , among others . He has also written radio plays that were broadcast on Saarländischer Rundfunk and cabaret contributions for the program Scheibenwischer , the Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft and Lore Lorentz . He has also written two historical novels and numerous non-fiction books , mostly on topics of environmental protection and nature. In 2018 the novel The Flight of the Great Hunter was published. Across the sea to a new land via the poacher Hans Eidig .
