Claus von Heydebreck

Claus Hennig Ferdinand von Heydebreck (born February 15, 1859 in Pasewalk , † September 2, 1935 in Markowitz ) was a Prussian colonel and politician .

Life

Claus von Heydebreck came from the old Pomeranian noble family Heydebreck , which was first mentioned in 1254. He was the son of the Prussian lieutenant general and landowner Henning von Heydebreck (1828–1904), landlord on Silberberg (near Strickershagen , district of Stolp ), and his first wife Anna, née von Colmar (1837–1879). His younger brother was Joachim von Heydebreck , commander of the protection force in German South West Africa .

He was a Prussian colonel and during the First World War the commander of the 1st Grand Ducal Mecklenburg Dragoon Regiment No. 17 , commander of the Order of St. John and a member of the Prussian manor house .

Heydebreck married the landowner Hildegard von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff (born May 20, 1869 in Inowrazlaw ; † November 17, 1947 in Blankenburg (Harz) ), landlady on Markowitz with Möllendorf and Schönwerth on June 22, 1891 at Gut Markowitz in the province of Posen . She was the daughter of the royal Prussian chamberlain and real privy councilor Hugo Freiherr von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff , landlord on Markowitz and others, and Josephine von Roy from the Wierzbiczany family.

His tombstone is still in the evangelical village cemetery in Wymysłowice (Möllendorf).
