Clemens Aap Lindenberg (born October 10, 1961 in Vienna under the real name Clemens Appel) is an Austrian actor and director.

Life

Lindenberg attended elementary school and the humanistic grammar school . This was followed by community service with the Red Cross as a medic .

Lindenberg completed an acting training first with Wilfried Baasner , then with Eva Zilcher and Dorothea Neff . In 1983 he founded the independent theater group THESPISKARREN to deal with new forms of theater. In 1985 he was ready for the stage before the joint examination commission ( ÖGB ). Since then, Lindenberg has worked internationally as a freelance actor in the theater as well as for film and television.

In 1985 he played terminus prison of Jack Unterweger . In 1990 he toured with Jack Unterweger Kerker or In the Name of the Republic through Austria. In 1992, when Unterweger was already wanted by an international arrest warrant, Lindenberg was hired for the ORF TV play The Day they caught Jack Unterweger (director: Houchang Allhayari, role: journalist Beran) From 1991 to 2001 Lindenberg was a member of the Ensemble Theater on Petersplatz and seen there in 23 productions. Since then he has worked as a freelance actor and director.

Lindenberg is married to news editor Christiane Lindenberg for the second time. He has a son and a daughter from his first marriage and lives in Vienna, Lower Austria and Styria.
