Clemens Coenen (born June 22, 1978 in Wolfenbüttel ) is a German triathlete .
Career
Clemens Coenen started his first triathlon in 1992 and became the amateur world champion in the long distance triathlon at the Ironman in Hawaii in 2008 (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling, 42.195 km running). Two days after the competition he married his wife Yvonne there .
Today he lives in Lemgo and trains with TV Lemgo .
