Clemens Dölken
Clemens Dölken O.Praem. (* 1956 in Duisburg ) is a German regular canon and Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
After his childhood and youth in the Hamborn district of Duisburg , Dölken entered the Hamborn Premonstratensian monastery and studied philosophy and theology at the universities of Bonn and Munich. He was ordained a priest on June 24, 1982 and was subsequently active as a pastor. In 1990 he was awarded a Dr.rer.pol at the University of Münster . the economics doctorate.
After reunification he was entrusted with the preparation of the foundation of a priory of the Hamborn Abbey in Magdeburg and worked there as a pastor in the parish of St. Augustine a. a. with the parish church of St. Petri and student chaplain . He is the prior of the Premonstratensian monastery in Magdeburg .
Clemens Dölken has been teaching at the Philosophical-Theological University of St. Augustin since 2005 ; In 2014 he was appointed Professor of Christian Social Science. Main teaching and research activities are business ethics and global ethics; he has published several papers and essays on it.
He is the brother of Albert Dölken O.Praem. , the abbot of the Premonstratensian monastery Hamborn. Since 1978 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Rheno-Franconia Munich.
Act
In 1991 he also founded the Subsidiaris aid organization . Since it was founded in 2006, Clemens Dölken has also been a member of the board of the European St. Norbert Foundation . He was also involved in founding the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics .
In 1998, Clemens Dölken was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Carlo Cardinal Furno and invested on October 10th by Anton Schlembach , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy , and Peter Heidinger , Lieutenant in Germany. He was an officer of the order. Dölken is involved in numerous social projects in the Holy Land .
