Clement Tirkey
Clement Tirkey (born September 12, 1947 in Ranput , India ) is Bishop of Jalpaiguri .
Life
Clement Tirkey was ordained a priest in 1978 . He was incardinated on June 14, 1997 in the clergy of the Bagdogra diocese .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 31, 2006 Bishop of Jalpaiguri. The Archbishop of Ranchi , Telesphore Placidus Cardinal Toppo , ordained him episcopal on April 23 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Lucas Sirkar SDB , Archbishop of Calcutta , and Thomas D'Souza , Bishop of Bagdogra .
