Coblenz is a settlement ( English Settlement ) with about 1000 inhabitants (2009) in the region Otjozondjupa in Namibia . Coblenz is located 60 kilometers south of Grootfontein on the main road C42 in the constituency of Okakarara .

The settlement is a regional center of the San and has utility facilities such as community school, clinic and retail. From 2009 to 2013 investments were made in building a police station.

Due to its location at the confluence of two rivers , the place was given the name Coblenz in the times of German South West Africa , based on Koblenz on the Rhine and Moselle, which was spelled Coblenz until 1926 .
