Occurrence

Codling moth ( Cydia pomonella )

Codlemon one of the insect pheromones and is the sex pheromone of the codling moth and Cydia caryana . Codlemon is used in attractant traps for biological pest control.

Admission

In the European Union Codlemon was approved under the name ( E , E ) -8,10-dodecadien-1-ol together with a large number of other straight-chain lepidopteran pheromones for use as an attractant with effect from September 1, 2009.

Plant protection products with this active ingredient are approved in a number of EU countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
