Colett Rampf (born July 23, 1991 in Rathenow ) is a German triathlete , soccer player and German junior champion 2010 in the duathlon , who now lives in the USA and is active as a long-distance runner .

Career

Colett Rampf grew up with her brother Philipp an der Havel , about 70 kilometers west of Berlin, in Brandenburg.

In the three years from 2009 to 2012 Rampf took part in many Bundesliga competitions as well as in ITU competitions. At an Xterra European Cup, Rampf qualified for the Xterra World Championships on Maui.

In 2009 and 2010 she started for the triathlon department of the Bavarian club SC Riederau . From 2010 to 2011 Rampf represented the association “ Triathlon Potsdam e. V. ”in the Second German Triathlon Bundesliga and rose to the 1st Triathlon Bundesliga in 2012.

In 2011 she started at the 1st Globetrotter Harz Triathlon and took first place among women.

Colett Rampf was in the 2012/13 season with the football club FC Borussia Brandenburg , which plays in the Brandenburg League, as a striker under contract.

In 2013 Colett Rampf received a sports scholarship and has been living in Tampa , Florida since August 2013 , where she is under contract as a track and field athlete with the Adidas team Saint Leo and studies economics at the local university.

She set her personal best in the 3000 m obstacle course with 10: 00.96 min in Charlotte (USA) in May 2018 . In July 2018 she started in this discipline in Nuremberg at the German Athletics Championships , where she finished 13th behind winner Gesa Felicitas Krause with a time of 10: 27.32 minutes .

• In 2017 she was named "South Region Women's Athlete of the Year" by the USTFCCAA (US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association).
• 2016 Sunshine State Conference "Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year"
