The College Park Center is a multi-purpose hall in the US city of Arlington , Texas . The center is located on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). The CPC is used primarily by the NCAA - Basketball and - volleyball teams , the UT Arlington Mavericks out of the University of Sun Belt Conference , used. The new building replaced the Texas Hall , which was inaugurated in 1965 and has 2,709 seats.

In autumn 2010, Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. donated five million US dollars for the construction. It was the largest single donation in the history of the university. The building meets the requirements of the LEED Gold classification for environmentally friendly, resource-saving and sustainable construction.
On November 2, 2015, the new women's basketball has been the franchise of the Dallas Wings ( WNBA ) presents Center in College Park. The Wings have been playing their WNBA games at College Park Center since the 2016 season . Previously, the franchise was based in Tulsa , Oklahoma , as Tulsa Shock . In addition to sports, the university's graduation ceremony, concerts, conferences and community events take place there. The center offers 7,000 seats for sports events with a playing field. 6,750 seats are available for concerts with a final stage. Two training fields are available in the hall away from the main field.
