The Colostre is a river in France that runs in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department , in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region , in the French Maritime Alps . Its source river rises under the name Ravin de Balène in the forest area of Montdenier , in the municipality of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie . The river generally drains south-west through the Verdon Regional Nature Park and flows into the Verdon as a right tributary after 36 kilometers below Saint-Martin-de-Brômes , on the municipal border with Gréoux-les-Bains .
