Roumoules is a French municipality with 746 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Riez in the Forcalquier arrondissement .

The municipality has an area of ​​26.04 km² and is located at an altitude of 600  m in the valley of the Colostre River in the Verdon Regional Nature Park . Radio Monte Carlo has been operating a large transmission system for long and medium wave near Roumoules since 1974 .
