Bellaffaire is a French municipality with 144 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement Forcalquier and the Canton of Seyne .

geography

The municipality is bordered by Rochebrune to the north, Bréziers to the east, Saint-Martin-lès-Seyne to the southeast, Bayons to the south and Turriers and Gigors to the west . The main settlement is at 845  m . Bellaffaire also includes the hamlets of Les Dorats, La Freyssinie, Les Jurans and Les Pascaux. The Tête Grosse is a 1598 m high mountain. 387 hectares of the municipality mark are forested.
