Historical development

On January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Gourfaleur , La Mancellière-sur-Vire , Saint-Romphaire and Saint-Samson-de-Bonfossé formed a commune nouvelle under the name Bourgvallées .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with Saint-Lô Agglo (before 2017) and thus formed the successor organization of the same name, Saint-Lô Agglo . Despite the same name, it is a start-up with a different legal personality.

At the same time, the municipality of Saint-Ébremond-de-Bonfossé was merged with Canisy to form a Commune nouvelle .
