The Communauté de communes du Savès is a former French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region . It was founded on December 2, 2003 and united 18 congregations. The administrative seat was in Rieumes . The association of municipalities is named after the historic province of Savès .

Attention! Not to be confused with the community association of the same name in the Gers department : Communauté de communes du Savès (Gers) .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

  • Communauté de communes du Canton de Cazères and
  • Communauté de communes de la Louge et du Touch

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes Cœur de Garonne .
