The Communauté de communes du Sud Grenoblois was a community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the French department of Isère in the Rhône-Alpes region . It was named after its location south of the city of Grenoble . The last president was Norbert Grimoud.
history
The Communauté de communes du Sud Grenoblois was founded in 2003. Later came the municipalities of Bresson from the Communauté d'agglomération Grenoble Alpes Métropole (January 1, 2005) and Vaulnaveys-le-Haut from the Communauté de communes du Pays du Grésivaudan (January 1, 2010). Laffrey was also a member from 2006 to 2011, after leaving the former Communauté de communes de la Matheysine . In 2011, plans began to set up a metropolitan association in the Grenoble region, a newly created structural form that requires a certain minimum size. To achieve this, the Communauté de communes du Sud Grenoblois was integrated into the Communauté d'agglomération Grenoble Alpes Métropole at the end of 2013, together with other municipal associations.
