Cooper Huckabee

Thomas Cooper Huckabee (born May 8, 1951 in Mobile , Alabama ) is an American actor who is best known for his appearances in the films Urban Cowboy and Gettysburg .

life and career

Cooper Huckabee was born in the city of Mobile, Alabama, where he attended Davidson High School . He later attended the University of Southern Mississippi , for which he played on the football team.

Huckabee had his first major role as Buzz in the film The Funhouse in 1981. Before that, he appeared regularly in TV series and television films for about 5 years. This was followed by the role of Marshall in the film Cowboy , on the side of John Travolta . He has been on television regularly since the 1990s. He played u. a. also recurring roles, such as Joe Lee Mickens in the series True Blood .

In 2012 he played the small role of the plantation supervisor Roger Brittle in Quentin Tarantino's hit film Django Unchained . More recently, Huckabee has made guest appearances in series such as Criminal Minds and Major Crimes .

It is interesting to note that his role profiles have changed significantly over the course of his career. At the beginning of his career he mostly played good-looking characters, in more recent times he has been cast for opposing roles due to his distinctive facial features.
