Cornelia von Fürstenberg

Cornelia von Fürstenberg (born Pollak ; * 1981 in Rosenheim ) is a German actress .

Life

Pollak studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich from 2004 to 2008 , where she graduated with an acting diploma.

During her training, she performed at the Münchner Kammerspiele (2006–2007), the Akademietheater Munich (2007; as Karoline in Kasimir and Karoline ) and at the Residenztheater Munich (2008).

In 2007 she received the Ensemble Prize of the Bayerische Theatertage (as a member of the ensemble in Der Wolf ist tot , Münchner Kammerspiele, director: Stefan Otteni ) and the Ensemble Prize at the Theatertreffen of German-speaking drama schools .

After completing her acting training, she received her first permanent engagement at the Theater Kanton Zürich in 2008 , where she stayed until 2010. Her roles in Zurich included a. a. the girl in Blood Wedding (2008), Roxane in Cyrano de Bergerac (2009), Diamante in Die Riesen vom Berge (2009), Eve in Der Zerbrochne Krug (2009) and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing (2010).

Since the 2010/11 season she has been part of the festival ensemble at the Kleiner Theater - Kammerspiele Landshut . At the Kammerspiele Landshut she played the role of Frida in Ibsen's play John Gabriel Borkmann (director: Sven Grunert ) in the 2010/11 season , as well as the woman in Chronicle of the Future by Swetlana Alexijewitsch , directed by Matthias Eberth . Other roles were there u. a. the Clarice in Arlecchino. The servant of two masters (premiere: 2012/13 season) and Laura Wingfield in Die Glasmenagerie (premiere: 2013/14 season). In 2015 she appeared at the Theater an der Rott in the title role of Ibsens Nora and at the Theater Hofspielhaus Munich (as Mathilde in Sisters of Theo Fransz , directed by Stefanie von Poser ). Since April 2018 she has played Anette in the successful production Der Gott des Gemetzels in Baierisch language at the theater "Heppel und Ettlich" in Munich (director: Johannes Rieder, translation: Sebastian Edtbauer ).

Cornelia von Fürstenberg also worked for cinema and television. She had her first film and television roles a. a. as a nurse in Marcus H. Rosenmüller's film Räuber Kneißl (2008) and in the television series Um Himmels Willen (2011; directed by Ulrich König ).

At Bayerischer Rundfunk, she appeared in the television series Der Komödienstadel in the folk play Die fromme Helene (recorded in February 2012 in the BR studio in Unterföhring ); she played Peggy Rutzmoser, the new, young parsonage keeper and niece of the pastor.

In the ZDF crime series Die Rosenheim-Cops , she was seen in the recurring series role of Christiane Haeberlein, who is involved in several murder cases and who has always found a new job where a murder happens shortly afterwards. She was the town hall employee of the mayor of Ganting ( Jürgen Tonkel ) in the following election campaign in Ganting (first broadcast: November 2015), the secretary for a Rosenheim building contractor in the episode The Wrong Man (first broadcast: February 2016), the waitress in the traditional Rosenheim restaurant "Glockenwirt" in the episode Death of a Locust (first broadcast: January 2017) and the former housekeeper and lover of the hardware store lion Wilhelm König in the episode Die Erben des Herr König (first broadcast: February 2019).

Cornelia von Fürstenberg lives with her family in Munich.
