Corneliu Teodorini (born September 18, 1893 in Craiova , † July 10, 1976 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian division general in World War II .

Teodorini was promoted to lieutenant colonel in 1934 and to colonel in 1938 .

During the Second World War, he was commander of the 1st  Cavalry Regiment from June 1, 1941 to October 5, 1941 . From October 5, 1941 to May 10, 1942, command of the 8th Cavalry Brigade followed. He then headed the propaganda department at the Romanian General Staff . From July 7, 1942 to October 5, 1942 he was in the cavalry headquarters in the Romanian War Ministry.

From October 5, 1942 to July 24, 1944, he commanded the 6th Motorized Cavalry Division . As a division commander, he was awarded the military order of Michael the Brave III on February 8, 1943 . Excellent class and on August 27, 1943 with the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross . On September 15, 1943, he was promoted to Brigadier General.

As commander of the 6th Motorized Cavalry Division, he was awarded the Knight's Cross Oak Leaves on December 8, 1943. He was one of only three Romanians who were awarded the oak leaves. On December 8, 1943, the Wehrmacht report reported : “In the Crimea, units of the Romanian 6th Cavalry Division under the leadership of Lieutenant General Teodorini, who had already been awarded the Knight's Cross, supported the enemy landing head south of Kerch with German artillery and assault guns as well as German, Romanian and Croatian air forces smashed. In three days of heavy fighting, the Soviet landing units were wiped out and around 2,000 prisoners were brought in. ”For this mission he was also awarded the Military Order of Michael the Brave, Second Class.

From July 24, 1944 to November 3, 1944, he commanded the 8th Cavalry Division. From November 3, 1944 to November 22, 1944 he was at the disposal of the War Ministry. From November 22, 1944 to March 24, 1945 he was head of the cavalry direction in the Romanian War Ministry. He retired on March 24, 1945.

By decree No. 500/1964 of the Council of State of the Romanian People's Republic of December 9, 1964, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the liberation, he was awarded the order of August 23, 4th class for special merits in building socialism.
