Coulomb is a former French commune with the last 424 inhabitants (as of January 1 2014) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The inhabitants are known as coulonnais .
On January 1, 2017, Coulombs was incorporated into the new municipality of Moulins en Bessin as part of a regional reform together with three neighboring municipalities .
geography
Coulombs is about nine kilometers east-southeast of Bayeux and 18 kilometers northwest of Caen .
The community was surrounded by:
- Creully-sur-Seulles with Saint-Gabriel-Brécy in the north,
- Ponts sur Seulles with Lantheuil in the northeast,
- Moulins-en-Bessin with Cully in the east,
- Rots with Secqueville-en-Bessin in the southeast,
- Thue et Mue with Sainte-Croix-Grand-Tonne in the south,
- Ducy-Sainte-Marguerite in the southwest,
- Moulins-en-Bessin with Martragny to the west and Rucqueville to the northwest.
