Saint Martin Church

Cully is a former French commune with the last 194 inhabitants (as of January 1 2014) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The inhabitants are known as Cullysiens .

On January 1, 2017, Cully was incorporated into the new municipality of Moulins en Bessin as part of a regional reform together with three neighboring municipalities .

geography

Cully is about 12 kilometers east-southeast of Bayeux and 15 kilometers northwest of Caen .

The municipality was surrounded by the villages of Lantheuil in the north, Le Fresne-Camilly in the northeast and east, Lasson in the southeast, Secqueville-en-Bessin in the south, Sainte-Croix-Grand-Tonne in the southwest, Coulombs in the west and Saint-Gabriel- Brécy in a north-westerly direction.
