Lantheuil ( French commune with the last 651 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Bretteville-l'Orgueilleuse . The inhabitants are known as Lantheuillais .
) is a formerLantheuil merged with the neighboring towns of Amblie and Tierceville on January 1, 2017 to form the new municipality of Ponts sur Seulles . Lantheuil acts as the "superordinate district" as the administrative seat of Ponts-sur-Seulles.

Lantheuil is about 14 km east of Bayeux and 15 km northwest of Caen .
The municipality was surrounded by Colombiers-sur-Seulles in the north, Amblie in the northeast, Fontaine-Henry in the east, Le Fresne-Camilly in the southeast, Cully in the south and southwest, Saint-Gabriel-Brécy in the west and Creully in the northwest.
