Tierceville is a former French commune with the last 167 inhabitants (as of January 1 2014) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .
On January 1, 2017, Tierceville was merged with the two neighboring municipalities of Amblie and Lantheuil to form the new municipality of Ponts sur Seulles as part of a regional reform .
geography
Tierceville is about 13 kilometers east of Bayeux and 19 kilometers northwest of Caen . The Seulles runs directly south of the local area and flows into the English Channel , which is only 6 km north of Tierceville .
