Cristian Marian Mosoiu (born September 10, 1987 ) is a Romanian biathlete .

Since the 2006/07 season, Cristian Mosoiu has contested his first races in the IBU Junior Cup , which at the time was still called the European Cup. The first highlight was the 2007 Junior World Championships in Martell , where the Romanian finished 69th in the individual, 33rd in the sprint, 42nd in the pursuit and 17th in the relay. He then started in the junior races of the Biathlon European Championships 2007 in Bansko . In Bulgaria, Mosoiu finished 31st in the individual, 25th in the sprint and 23rd in the pursuit. At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti and was 114 in an individual. A week later he was 82nd in a sprint in Hochfilzen and was among the top 100 for the first time. In the further course of the season he improved his personal best to 81st place. Towards the end of the season he also contested his first races in the men's IBU Cup. At the Junior World Championships in 2008 in Ruhpolding , he ran to 48th in the individual, 32nd in the sprint and 40 in the pursuit. At the Biathlon European Championships in 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě , it was used for the first time in a major event for men. However, he did not finish the individual. In the further course Mosoiu was used in the juniors and was 41st in the sprint, 40th of the pursuit race and eleventh with the relay. At the Military World Ski Championships in Hochfilzen in 2008 , ranks 62 were added in the sprint, with Claudiu Suciu and Ștefan Gavrilă 16 in the relay race and 19 in the military patrol. A 58th place in the 15-kilometer freestyle was added in cross-country skiing. At the Open Balkan Championships in 2008 he was fifth in Băile Harghita .

Since the 2008/09 season, Mosoiu has increasingly started cross-country skiing, taking part in lower-class races in the Alpine Cup , the Balkan Cup and FIS races . At the 2010 Military World Ski Championships in Cogne and Brusson , he was 43rd in the 15-kilometer freestyle in cross-country skiing and 45th in the biathlon sprint and ninth in the military patrol.
