Cynthia Maduengele Bolingo Mbongo (born January 12, 1993 in Uccle / Ukkel ) is a Belgian athlete who has specialized in the 200-meter run , but is also successful over 400 meters and with the sprint relay.

Athletic career

In 2011, Cynthia Bolingo Mbongo competed at the U20 European Championships in Tallinn and finished fifth with the Belgian 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2013 she was eliminated from the U23 European Championships in Tampere over 200 meters in the preliminary run and was disqualified with the Belgian relay. At the Francophonie Games, she won the bronze medal over 200 meters and won the Belgian sprint relay. At the U23 European Championships in 2015 in Tallinn, Estonia, she finished eighth over 400 meters. At the World Championships in Beijing , she was eliminated over 200 meters in the preliminary run . In 2016 she took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro over 200 meters, but was eliminated there in the first round.

In 2017 she became Belgian champion in the 100 and 200 meters. In addition, she became indoor champion over 400 meters in 2015.
