Sarrazin started skiing at the age of six. In December 19, 2009 he took part in an FIS race for the first time; he was sixtieth in the giant slalom in Alpe d'Huez . In 2011 he took part in the European Youth Olympic Festival , where he competed in giant slalom and slalom. In November 2012, Sarrazin completed his first race in the European Cup when he was eliminated on the downhill on the Reiteralm .
In his World Cup debut in the alpine combination of Chamonix on February 19, 2016, he finished 29th and was thus able to collect World Cup points for the first time. A week later he also made his World Cup debut in giant slalom. On December 3, 2016, Sarrazin won his first race in the European Cup in the Gällivare giant slalom . A week later he also scored points in that discipline for the first time in the World Cup as 24th in Val-d'Isère .
On December 19, 2016, he surprisingly won the parallel giant slalom in Alta Badia . Before that, his best World Cup result was a 24th place.
