Cyrus Gichobi Njui

Cyrus Gichobi Njui (born February 11, 1986 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .

In 2006 and 2010 he won the Sapporo Half Marathon , in which he set up his fastest time over this distance in 2009 as third, and in 2010 he won the Hokkaidō marathon on his debut on the 42.195 km distance .

In 2011 he was fifth in the Tokyo Marathon , third in the Gifu Seiryu Half Marathon and defended his title at the Sapporo Half Marathon. In 2013 he finished fourth in Gifu.

Cyrus Gichobi Njui is 1.71 m tall and weighs 52 kg. After studying at Ryūtsū Keizai University, he first joined the Nissan corporate team . He is currently starting for the Hitachi Cable team .
