Czesław Marchewczyk
Czesław Karol Marchewczyk (born October 1, 1912 in Krakow ; † November 10, 2003 ibid) was a Polish ice hockey and handball player .
Career
Czesław Marchewczyk worked full-time in civil engineering. From 1924 to 1949 he was active in the KS Cracovia sports club , with whose ice hockey department of the same name he won the Polish championship in 1937, 1946 and 1947 . He was also successful as a member of the handball department of KS Cracovia, with which he was Polish champion in 1930 and 1933.
International
For the Polish National Hockey Marchewczyk participated in the 1932 Olympics in Lake Placid , 1936 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in 1948 in St. Moritz in part. He was also in his country's squad at the World Championships in 1930 , 1933 , 1935 , 1937 , 1938 and 1939 . In total, he played 66 international matches between 1929 and 1948 for Poland, in which he scored 20 goals.
For the Polish national handball team he came in 1935 to his only international match.
