The Daberklamm (also Dabaklamm ) is a rocky gorge in the Hohe Tauern in East Tyrol . It is part of the Hohe Tauern National Park .

The gorge is located in the municipality of Kals am Großglockner and separates the Granatspitz group in the west from the Glockner group in the east. It closes at around 1600  m above sea level. A. to the south to the Dorfer Tal and forms the transition to the downstream Kalser Tal . The Dorfer Bach overcomes 110 meters in altitude on a stretch of about one kilometer .

Morphologically , the Daberklamm is a short stretch of gorge that was formed by the Dorfer Bach through retrograde erosion . The smoothly polished gorge walls consist of dark limestone schists and phyllites . In between there are green slates of the upper slate shell embedded. Low-lime, acidic rocks of the lower slate shell appear in the valley.

The only access to the Dorfer Valley is through the gorge. However, the route built between 1913 and 1915 is now closed to private motor vehicle traffic. In 1950 it was widened and a tunnel was built. Before the road was built, cattle drives and other alpine pasture routes into the Dorfer Valley had to be carried out via the Moaralm high above the gorge . In connection with the Dorfer Valley, the Daberklamm is a popular excursion destination today. In the middle section of the gorge, a viewing platform was built as part of the national park.
