The 2014/15 season of the Austrian women's ice hockey leagues was held parallel to the Elite Women's Hockey League . In the first Bundesliga, the second team of EHV Sabers Vienna won the championship. The second Bundesliga was won by the Kitzbühel / Kufstein syndicate. The EHV Sabers Vienna successfully defended their state championship.

Women's ice hockey Bundesliga

The women's ice hockey Bundesliga was played from September 2014 to March 2015 in the form of a simple round-trip round without play-offs. In addition to the five Austrian teams, one team each from Slovenia and Croatia took part.

The Gipsy Girls Villach qualified for the play-offs for the Austrian national championship title, as neither the foreign clubs nor the Sabers second team were eligible to participate.

Austrian state championship

The national championship of the 2014/15 season was decided in the play-offs. The three Austrian teams of the Elite Women's Hockey League 2014/15 and the best Austrian team of DEBL were selected as participants. The EHV Sabers Wien (EWHL), the DEC Salzburg Eagles (EWHL), the Neuberg Highlanders (EWHL) and the Gipsy Girls Villach (DEBL) were eligible to participate . The teams first played in a home and away game for the final. The winners then competed for the title of “Austrian Women's Ice Hockey State Champion 2014/15”. The other two teams played for the bronze medal in the same mode.

The championship of the 2nd DEBL was secured by the Kitzbühel / Kufstein syndicate ahead of the Lakers from Neumarkt in Italy due to the better goal difference in the direct matches.
