Dana Diezemann (born June 1, 1967 in Berlin ) is a German radio presenter , journalist , consultant for trans identity and expert for image sensors and cameras .

Career

Dana Diezemann was born as Daniel Diezemann in Berlin and lives today with her wife Stefanie Burkhardt in Abstatt near Heilbronn . On October 6, 2015, the Heilbronn District Court corrected her civil status to 'female'. The existing first name was changed to Dana at the same time .

As a woman with a transident background, Dana Diezemann works as a TEDx and keynote speaker, speaker and lecturer as well as role model in the fields of diversity , transformation, change management and LGBT . In 2016 she co-signed the Stuttgart Declaration .

Dana Diezemann has been doing voluntary public relations work since 2015 in order to promote social acceptance in the area of transsexuality and trans identity through education . This includes in particular reports in print, online, on the radio, as multimedia reports and lectures at evening events. Diezemann is present through more than 50 appearances at Barcamp - sessions, workshops, video interviews and as a talk guest on television.

Since August 2017, Dana Diezemann has been hosting the talk series with Dana on a voluntary basis . In every episode of the talk show, Diezemann interviews people who want to tell their story live. The series started on August 2, 2017 and ended on December 19, 2018 on the Stuttgart radio station Horads 88.6 . From October 2018, the series switched parallel to Radio StHörfunk in Schwäbisch Hall . From April to September 2019, Diezemann was a managing board member at Radio StHörfunk. Since April 9, 2019, partner broadcasts have been exchanged with the Meissner radio and can be heard weekly in North and Central Hesse on digital radio . Since the beginning of 2020 there have been temporarily no live broadcasts for professional reasons. All episodes are also available as podcasts on iTunes and Spotify, among others .

Dana Diezemann has been professionally active in the field of video and camera technology since 1988. After starting her own business in 1998, she switched to various manufacturers of industrial cameras. In 2001 she was featured as a camera expert in the annual report of Basler AG . Since 2002 Diezemann has given around 350 training courses, in-house training courses and coaching, and as a journalist has published over a dozen specialist articles. In 2018 and 2019 she worked as a freelancer and was an active member of the international IEEE-SA P2020 working group, which deals with quality criteria for camera systems in the field of autonomous driving ( ADAS ). Diezemann provides specialist knowledge in lectures in Asia and Europe in order to further improve the imaging quality of the cameras in all environmental conditions. From January to July 2020 Diezemann worked as a strategic product manager for ISRA VISION AG .
