Daniel Cornelius Maria Rauh
Daniel Cornelius Maria Rauh (* 1801 ; † February 5, 1890 in Hanau ) was a German administrative officer and district administrator of the Hanau district .
Origin and education
Daniel Rauh was a son of Johann Heinrich Rauh (1759-1821), electoral Hessian judicial officer in Windecken , and Auguste Piton (1772-1849). He studied political science .
Career
Daniel Rauh was a trainee lawyer with the government of the Hanau Province , where he has been proven since 1831. He switched to the administration of the Hanau district, where he worked as a district secretary. In 1840 he worked in the same position in the Hersfeld district , but one year later again in the Hanau district. In 1849, as part of the revolution of 1848, he became district administrator of the Hanau district (the title was then: "First administrative officer"). With the onset of the reaction era after the revolution, it was replaced in 1851.
