Daniel Schneider also Schneider-Dettwiler (born November 16, 1825 in Langenbruck ; † January 3, 1910 ibid), reformed , entitled to live in Langenbruck, was a Swiss politician (revisionist).

Life

Daniel Schneider, son of the farmer Johann Jakob Schneider and Salome née Dettwiler, devoted himself to schooling in Langenbruck and Waldenburg , followed by a year in Welschland , to a teacher training at the Kreuzlingen seminar , which he completed with the acquisition of a primary school teacher certificate. Schneider subsequently held teaching positions in Ramlinsburg from 1846 , then from 1847 until his resignation in 1863 in Langenbruck.

Daniel Schneider joined the Christoph Rolles Revi movement in 1860 , was a member of the Constitutional Council from 1861 to 1863 , the District Administrator in 1863, and from 1863 to 1866 in the role of Education Director of the Rolles government . Afterwards Schneider was given the office of governor of the Waldenburg district , in 1887 that of the chief judge, which he resigned after a short period of work for health reasons.
