Daniel Straehle (born March 27, 1991 in Waiblingen ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .
Career
The goalkeeper's career as a player began at TSG Backnang . In 2007 he moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , with whom he won the German B youth championship in his first season . After he and his advisor could not agree on a contract extension with the Hoffenheim team, he signed an amateur contract with the Danish club Aarhus GF . From January to July 2011 Strähle was active at VfR Aalen for six months , where he was the third goalkeeper behind Daniel Bernhardt and Marcel Wehr to not make it to the third division . In the summer of 2011, Strähle moved to the regional league team Holstein Kiel , where he was also number three behind Morten Jensen and Niklas Jakusch . In the second half of his first season with Kiel he made 11 appearances in the regional league. In the following season, in which the team achieved promotion to the 3rd division, he was not used. After Jensen's departure, another goalkeeper was signed in Maximilian Riedmüller , but Strähle made his third division debut on May 10, 2014 (38th matchday of the 2013/14 season ) in the 3-1 away win over SV Darmstadt 98 , when both other goalkeepers were injured. In the summer of 2014, Strähle moved to the regional division TSG Neustrelitz . A year later he switched to the Württemberg regional division TV Derendingen .
